Hush: Streamyx tip
Here's a handy tip if you're stuck with Streamyx for broadband. I recently experienced a billing problem which has resulted in the suspension of my account. This prevented my household from going online.
Here's a quick hack - I tried another valid account (e.g. username@streamyx), and it seems to work fine. Well, at least we know it's just a "soft" suspension, and no one's pulled the plugs on my bandwidth.
*p/s: don't shoot the messenger. Until another broadband service provider emerges in KL, I'll endeavour to sort out all billing issues (*sigh*)

well, this is not actually a hack because when TM NET suspend the account, the will only disable your login info and also Streamyx email. But they can't control or disable your telephone's ADSL connection because an Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) is powered by Telekom Malaysia. TM NET and TM is just under one company but they do not work under one team. Therefore TM NET can only ugrade your normal line to DSL line but cannot do the other way around. So you can use other person's account and access the net BUT the other person who's account you are currently using won't be able to online. This is because Only One Connection is allowed per account. And this is not the end of the case, there is slighly away of confusing TM NET system. And that is, when your account suspended, go online using other person account and keep the connection active for 2 days and above with active activities such as Torrent downloads so your UP and DOWN speed will be used to maximum. At this time, the original account owner won't able to login. They must try more than once. Then we must disconnect the connection. Now the original account owner can connect to Streamyx and they finish using, we must connect back to streamyx and keep it active. The next day, our connection will still be active and the other person can also connect to Streamyx using their info and both of the users will be online at same time. Even we can disconnect and connect back later. No problem will occur. This is the real case that i experienced. My home account was suspended and i used office account to go internet at home. After i did as above, the connection did worked for both office and home. The Key of Hacking TM NET server is "MAKE IT CONFUSE". Hack Streamyx is never easy but of course it is possible after i experienced it.
