Popular silence is a source of great strength FOR the party in power.

Such quotes are simplistic as it does not complement it with advice that directs us to WHAT we have to DO whilst being silent in order to be a source of great strength.

@ed: As with most things in life, any quote could be deemed as subjective depending on the audience. I'm intrigued by your point of view, as it offers a different perspective. Indeed, this is simplistic, but it's usually the simple *subjective* quotes that actually trigger some form of action.
