Some tips. Useful if u need to trace which site give away ur email to spammer. sold u out
code: mygmailaccount+domainname.com@gmail.com
i.e: johndoe+praveenrajan.com@gmail.com

when the mail is send gmail will forward it to johdoe@gmail.com. so if there is a spam mail using johndoe+praveenrajan@gmail.com u'll know whose to blame. (search email)
Only used this on registration form not on open post. the + character is valid rfc code.
