The Nokia 6300 is a can of worms!
What's the point of using a camera phone when you can't take landscape shots by default?
Just realised this on my Nokia 6300. If I had known earlier, I would have opted for something else. Bummer.

As there is not a dedicated camera key, users will have to use the 6300's 2MP camera in a portrait orientation. This makes it slightly less comfortable to use, unlike other handsets where users can hold the device in a landscape orientation just like how they would use a normal camera.

I have abondoned (using) a Nokia looooong time ago. "Time for a change" for you, maybe?
Its nearest competitor, the SE has so much more functionality without the fuss and hype. I find SE to be much more stable and function-rich!
@tsu lin: indeed! Regret not opting for the SE. 3.2MP cam with flash, Blogger-friendly, USB flash drive, photo stitching, and all the things I really wanted. Nokia can't even keep my birthdays in sync between the phone book & calendar! Sadly, most SEs don't come with EDGE which is a requirement in the line of duty :P
