Rombongan Sambil Belajar

UPDATED WITH PHOTOS.

Ranga giving us a lecture on how boxes are made. Every "type" of box needs it's own plate. Plates are customised with rubber pieces and blades between them. It's like an art form!

Some of the nice looking boxes made in Pandan Indah. I'll never look down on those mosquito coil boxes ever again.

We also got a tutorial on the printing process. CMYK, yadda, yadda. Oh, and then Ranga taught us how to spot the micro-lettering on the Ringgit notes. Felt like a scene out of Ocean's 11.

A couple of funny sights. Something's missing from the tool collection. Reminded me of "Kemahiran Hidup".

And then we got treated to a super lunch. Steamed fish in spicy bean paste sauce alongside some yau mak and taugeh. Awesome!

Ranga, thanks for the tour! It was super. I don't think I'll be visiting many factories in my lifetime, so this will always be a highlight (Awww...)

Ranga's taking us on a tour of his printing factory. It's huge! Never knew you had to do so much just to make a box!

Watch this space, I'll post photos here.

Ranga, u print and make boxes??? Over in UK, they costs so much (was looking for some to get, even if buying in bulk, they costs like £3/box - medium size).

@ranga: Thanks for the factory visit- I loved the die-cutting part (on a smaller scale, it would be very ideal for scrapbooking) :P
