Kids are so lucky these days. I got my first mobile phone when I was 17!
Tssk, *kids* (even to you Melissa). I had mine when I was working after 3 months - at 22 yr old!
And right after I bought it with my hard-earned money, only to have it dropped into a toilet bowl 2 weeks later.
I got my first phone in August 2000, just before starting work. It was a hand-me-down (up?) from my younger brother. Hah Hah!
@tsulin: did the phone work after its swim?
@praveen : Hahaha you had to use your brother's old phone?
@tsu lin: To my defense, mobile phones were so expensive last time when we were *kids*. Comparatively.
Okay I wiill keep quiet now.

9 years old?! He doesn't need a camera phone with games he needs to go out and play Catching-Catching and Police & Thieves!
Damn kids are spoilt these days!
