Would you bite the carrot?

There's intense competition in Singapore as they approach full number portability which kicks off June 13th. (Malaysia will enjoy this in August) Everyone's throwing 'carrots' here. Lots of roadshows to build awareness.

Given a choice, what would make you switch to another telco if you could keep your number?

For me, it would be cheaper calls/SMSes, etc. In the current market, all telcos offer pretty much the same thing, right?

I'd switch telco's if they provided teleporation services.

Yeap, without that, I'm not changing. Period.

@ranga: the prepaid market in Malaysia is almost close to parity for voice calls. SMS on the other hand depends on where your friends are located. If they're all on DiGi, then you'd save more if you were on DiGi too. As for Postpaid, it really depends on how much you're willing to fork out every month. As of now, DiGi offers the best Postpaid deal.

@melissa: "teleporation"? Typo for that Star Trek fad?

I think Ara would bite the carrot. Maybe more than one carrot!
