Facebook in Malay
Facebook is now available in Malay (Bahasa Melayu).

This is a remarkable enhancement for users in Malaysia. As is stands, Facebook claims to have over 600,000 users in Malaysia. I wouldn't be surprised if this number triples very quickly, now that the language barrier has been removed.

Bravo, Facebook!

Oh my god. The jokes are going to be endless with this one!
I was pissed when Friendster starting using BM on their main site, if you're visiting from Malaysia. It was a major turn off.
They should stop assuming that everyone who comes from Malaysia speaks Malay. I'll bet a larger majority of Malaysians on the internet speak English rather than Malay :P
It's not too bad on Facebook though since it just tells you that BM is supported.
http://www.mukabuku.com/ can still be bought from godaddy :)
@ranga: How do you "super poke" in Malay?
@ivan: agreed. At least Facebook got it right by allowing the Malay interface to be an opt-in feature.
@cglow: i'm tempted to splurge!
