Let me see your booty shake!
My buddy Ranga, got a fantastic Birthday Stomp last night at the Bubba Gump restaurant in The Curve.
Watch the video, and sing along to this tune:
x2:
If you want your birthday cake
Let me see your booty shake
x3:
Shake your booty
Shake shake your booty, shake
Happy... Birthday, Happy.... Birthday
Read reviews of the place, here, here and here. We had a great time - good food, and the Forrest Gump theme added lots of fun. (Can you remember your favourite lines from the movie?)
I had the All-American Hamburger. Yes, the portions are big - good place to satisfy your tummies.

*p/s: Ranga, Happy Birthday "broh"! The stomp needed a great sport to begin with!

Making sense of 55 sen
Scene 1: Big buff guy in front of me. Orders enough for two buff guys. And then he orders tartar sauce. Cashier gives him a plastic tub with a squirt of sauce. Like toothpaste squirt. For 55 sen. Buff guy looks pissed. But instead of using brute force, he just orders another squirt. That's another 55 sen. Next!
Scene 2: Old homeless guy walks in. Looks lost. Stares at Value Meal menu. Ponders. Then orders an ice cream in a cone. It's on a special offer of 55 sen after tax. Twist? He pays, and gets change. Ponders. Then inserts coins into the donation box.
Only at McDonald's. Or maybe just Bangsar.

Your waiters are horrible!
Old Town White Coffee, service tonight was really bad. No kidding. Don't think we'll be back anytime soon. Hope you like the coins.

For Sale: Brand New Samsung i450 (50% discount)

Retail Price:
Your Price:
This is my review unit that has hardly been used (under 1-hour in total).
Why am I selling it? It was a review unit courtesy of Samsung Malaysia, for the Samsung BlogMob event (12 April - 17 May). Samsung is offering a 50% discount on the phone for everyone that took part. I'm not making anything extra, just spreading the love =)
Did I like the phone? Well, I just didn't have the time to fiddle with it. Truth be told, I didn't fancy it compared to my Nokia 6300. But it may be a gem for YOU. I'm simply growing older, and don't fancy the bells and whistles.
Is this the phone for you? If you love music on-the-go, adore the Nokia Symbian OS (yes, on a Samsung), and crave extremely good deals, then, this is the phone for you.
Let me know NOW. I have 24-hours. So do YOU.

Could I borrow your glasses?
At the bottom of this drain lies a pair of glasses. Note to self: don't spit in drains again!

Money Matters: stories from the weekend
The Bad: Got charged RM1.30 for a glass of warm water at Gurney Drive in The Gardens Mid Valley. Mel and I had a glass each. RM2.60 + 5% tax + 5 sen rounding = RM2.75 just for water! Isn't there a law against this? The Good: we won't be going back there again.

How many friends do you own?

It's broken down as follows:
- Family: 10
- Best Friends Forever: 9
- Trusted Pals: 7
- Colleagues: 53
- Uni mates: 8
- College mates: 23
- Former colleagues: 18
- Secondary school: 34
- Primary school: 1
- Acquaintances: 36
Some questions on my mind as I await the elusive 200th friend:
- What is the average number of friends across all Facebook users?
- Does having more friends imply that I am more sociable?
- Should I start limiting my profile views to my closest friends?
- Has all this mumbojumbo added any value to my life?
I'll dive into answers when I hit the 200 mark.
*p/s: To my dear 200th friend, a Baskin Robbin's treat awaits you. Any flavour of your choice, any number of scoops. But we must meet in the real world =)
Those books with sexy legs - have you read them?

I haven't read any. Don't think I will. But the covers are sexy, don't you think?

Rombongan Sambil Belajar
Ranga giving us a lecture on how boxes are made. Every "type" of box needs it's own plate. Plates are customised with rubber pieces and blades between them. It's like an art form!

Some of the nice looking boxes made in Pandan Indah. I'll never look down on those mosquito coil boxes ever again.

We also got a tutorial on the printing process. CMYK, yadda, yadda. Oh, and then Ranga taught us how to spot the micro-lettering on the Ringgit notes. Felt like a scene out of Ocean's 11.

A couple of funny sights. Something's missing from the tool collection. Reminded me of "Kemahiran Hidup".

And then we got treated to a super lunch. Steamed fish in spicy bean paste sauce alongside some yau mak and taugeh. Awesome!

Ranga, thanks for the tour! It was super. I don't think I'll be visiting many factories in my lifetime, so this will always be a highlight (Awww...)
Ranga's taking us on a tour of his printing factory. It's huge! Never knew you had to do so much just to make a box!
Watch this space, I'll post photos here.
