It turned out to be a *very nice* dinner for two.
Worth another visit. If you're headed there, I'd recommend making a reservation. We saw lots of people being turned away at the door because the restaurant was packed by 7:30pm. Thankfully, we arrived (early) before the masses.
For reservations, check: http://www.myelephant.com.my/
We had a small chicken tomyam which was sufficient for 3-4 people (RM15), 2 portions of brown rice fit for 3 (RM5), minced chicken (laab gai, RM14), fish cakes (5 pieces for RM8) and iced water (RM0.50 unlimited refills).
The two of us left the restaurant in "midriffs". Oh, and I topped it off with an Ikea soft ice-cream 30 minutes later, while Mel got her dose of free coffee - fatties!
"Fatties" is right! You guys must've been famished!
I loved it! Thanks for dinner, babe.
Lucky guys! I tried going there the last time I went back and it was so unfortunate that they were close for lunch due to staff re-training. SIGH.
Bring me there next time I'm back, k?!
@ranga: yeah, we went to the gym. But dinner was more of a workout!
@melissa: fish cake fatty!
@tsulin: yes, WHEN you're back!
hmm...never knew the place existed..i should go since its practically walking distance from home :D
thanks for the review..i shall check it out soon
