The best banana leaf meal in Bangsar
We just finished a great banana leaf meal (what you see above is all in my belly now). If you're looking to have a fantastic lunch in Bangsar, just head over to Devi's Corner but sit upstairs. It's a whole different (air-conditioned) experience. And you don't have to wait for a table, unlike Nirwanas.

The Real Secret of Thoroughly Excellent Companies
Trust is as simple as following through on your commitments. Every sales person knows the way to make a quick sale is to develop quick trust. A good sales person will send you an article with a little note saying it made her think of you. That builds a relationship.
But a great sales person will call you to tell you she saw an article that made her think of you and promise to send it to you. Then she'll send it. That builds trust.
Great sales people create an opportunity to fulfill a commitment -- even when one doesn't naturally exist -- and then fulfill it. Like Issy Sharp's promise to visit Michael in Toronto.

Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa in Bangsar
Today we're trying the new Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa restaurant in Bangsar. RM2.95 for a nasi lemak "biasa", decent portion of rice in air conditioned comfort. But it's nothing great - food didn't arrive hot, service was poor, and you have to deal with the double parking horns blaring every now and then. Perhaps it's the teething phase - try again in 3 months if they're still around.
